đșđž A few years ago, someone came up with the granny square day on social media. You crochet a square, take a picture of it sovit covers the full screen, use the hashtag #grannysquareday and uploade it on social media on August 15th. Then you can look at all of the pictures with the same # and get inspired by all the squares, patterns and colours. Some peoples use the pictures of their favorite squares and create a digital blanket. It’s @suregal27 that started this wonderful tradition.
đșđž This year I made a square using front post double crochet. I love the structure that back and front post stitches creates and I love how it looks. As usual, there were a lot of things going on at home (the same as every family with kids) so I had to stress crochet and stress block. I like blocking my squares to make the edges straight and neat and to make the stitches ”fall into place”.
đșđž I like the front and the back of this square just as much.
