🇸🇪 För några är sen drogs det igång något som kallas mormorrutans dag på sociala medier. Man virkar en ruta, fotograferar den så den täcker hela skärmen, använder hashtagen #grannysquareday och laddar upp den på sociala medier 15/8. Sen kan man titta på alla bilder med samma # och bli inspirerad av alla rutor, mönster och färger. En del använder sedan fotona på sina favoritrutor och skapar en digital filt. Det är @suregal27 som ligger bakom denna fantastiska tradition.
🇺🇸 A few years ago, someone came up with the granny square day on social media. You crochet a square, take a picture of it sovit covers the full screen, use the hashtag #grannysquareday and uploade it on social media on August 15th. Then you can look at all of the pictures with the same # and get inspired by all the squares, patterns and colours. Some peoples use the pictures of their favorite squares and create a digital blanket. It’s @suregal27 that started this wonderful tradition.
🇸🇪 I Ã¥r virkade jag en ruta med relieftolpar. Jag älskar bÃ¥de strukturen och utseendet pÃ¥ reliefmaskor. Som vanligt är det mycket pÃ¥ gÃ¥ng här hemma, som i alla barnfamiljer, sÃ¥ det fick bli bÃ¥de stressvirkning och stress-blockning. Jag blockar gärna mina rutor sÃ¥ att kanterna blir raka och att maskorna ”faller pÃ¥ plats”.
🇺🇸 This year I made a square using front post double crochet. I love the structure that back and front post stitches creates and I love how it looks. As usual, there were a lot of things going on at home (the same as every family with kids) so I had to stress crochet and stress block. I like blocking my squares to make the edges straight and neat and to make the stitches ”fall into place”.
🇸🇪 Jag tycker att framsidan och baksidan på den här rutan är lika snygga.
